DUTIES :
- Complete all patient, staff, document, and other required transportation excursions to and from the various destinations that have been permitted.
- Follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the occupational health and safety statutes at all times.
- Professionally respond to inquiries and offer direction and assistance as needed.
- Encourage the correct handling, storage, and control of all government vehicles and accessories.
- Make sure you always have a valid driver’s license and PDP on you. Always keep the state cars neat and orderly.
- Before starting a car, always check the water, oil, fuel, tire pressure, and condition.
- Accidents, small and large vehicle defects should be reported right away to the Supervisor.

Requirements
- a minimum of three years of driving experience and Abet Level 4 or Grade 10.
- a PDP and code 10 (C1) driver’s license both in good standing.
- excellent written and verbal communication abilities, as well as the capacity to operate under pressure in a team.
- good familiarity with transportation laws and regulations.
- Being knowledgeable about the government fleet will be helpful.
- Must be literate and capable of writing. Must be willing to work shifts (day, night including public holidays and weekends).
